  1. I had kidney stones very bad..I went to an acupunturist..she treated me and also gave me some herbs that disolved the stones making them easy to pass, you should also know anything with corn syrup in it or carbonation will flair those stones up..drinking warm green tea will help to flush them ..dont drink cold things...warm clear liquids..if you do drink cranberry juice make sure there is no sugar..sugar free everything if you have stones...and they can come back..I have had a reacuurance and I get the herbs and it takes away the pain and dissolves the stones. This page has an acupuncture finder at the bottom put in your zip and find one that practices chinesse medicine...this is so much less expensive than a hospital or dr visit and it is a proven way to

eliminate the pain and get rid of the stones...my life is better for it..good luck to you.

  2. Cranberry juice will help heal any infection and maybe lessen the pain. But the best way to flush the stones completely is to use any type of clear liquid, PREFERRABLY water, in large quantities, to flush them out.

  3. Magnesium helps. Don't take the kind with calcium.

  4. No, cranberry juice can reduce the number of urinary tract infections, but not kidney stones. Kidney stones are usually formed from high urinary calcium, oxalate, citrate, pH. The more concentrated your urine the more likely stones are to form.

A way to reduce the occurrence of kidney stones is to maintain a high calcium, low salt, low animal protein diet.

One you already have stones nothing dietary will help other that high fluid intake. You can go to the doctor for shock wave lithotripsy but you will still have to pass them which is very painful unfortunately.

  5. I don't know if this is the situation with every case but kidney stones develop because your ph is to low.  Once this happens, it starts to pull the calcium out of your bones and forms stones.  Your PH can drop because of drinking bottled water because it is very acidic.

Here is what I did to pass my kidney stone easily with no pain.

Drinking 1 quart of warm water with a freshly squeezed lemon in it 2x a day, will help to break it down.
