I booked a flight to London, UK on Air Canada and my travel agent said that sometimes at the airport they ask to see the credit card you've booked with and that it should match the name in your passport...I don't go by my full name though....All legal documents I have my full name but my credit card has only what I go by....what are they gonna do? Not let me board?? I leave in 2 weeks...is that enough time to get a name change on the credit card? It's a Royal Bank Visa...Is this something to worry about before leaving? I mean what if someone that wasn't traveling with you paid for the tickets on their credit card...what are you supposed to do? You can't bring someone elses credit card...

  1. yes. I have seen that type of situation since the terrorist problem, and it is a little over protective, but I know it has to happen like that.

  2. you can support that with your driving liecense or NRIC, it's got your photo there, you shouldn't leave those at home even if you're travelling. it's the only way to ID yourself.
