  1. It helps me, but not my sister, she cries it all the time, so my Dad just ignores her, but I only cry if there's a really good reason or something like that. When I cry It's for real, It's not just cuz I'm a brat. So therefore, Dad gives in.

So I'd say it works for some and not for others.

  2. I rarely have to resort to this, as my family looks lost when I shed a tear. I only use that when I have to. Last resort. I get what I want regardless.

  3. ok it depends on the time and the thing you are crying about

  4. I am easily moved to tears and due to the teasing in my youth, I try not to if I can help it. I find that subtle manipulation works better.

  5. It depends on the person.  I think this theory is more susceptible to women than men.

  6. yes and no, u have to be comvinsing otherwise it wont work

  7. Yes, but people start to resent you for it. Like how everyone always hates which ever girl cries all the time on say...Big Brother or America's Next Top Model.

  8. no...it never worked with me, ever....if I cried as a kid, my mum would always be able to tell if I was just doing it to get my own way!

She was so wise in that way. Some parents can't see that sometimes kids are just testing the boundaries to see what works with adults...then as adults you get ppl like Nicci from Big brother who just think they can cry/make a fuss and they will get their way...it dosnt prepare them for the real world at all.....

  9. Maybe.  Mostly it is just annoying and aggravates people more if you do it a lot.

  10. depends on who you are crying to.

  11. sometimes . not always.

  12. yeah sometimes but then i don't make myself cry just to get my way

but i i do cry over something important then yes i do get my way :)
