    I have been a sufferer for 12-years and am doing well. My blog is dedicated to help. I will be updating my blog every 5-7 days on new ways to cope anxiety. I have just made few good entries on coping - I hope it will help you.

    I started out taking prozac 20mg daily.. then it dropped to 10mg and now I am just taking 5mg and still doing very well. I might be considering taking medication off my life.

    And most importantly, I am here to help you because I know how it feels to have anxiety or panic attacks.

  2. It worked for me!  It also kept me from over-eating and I actually lost weight while taking it.  I'm a very nervous person, but I wasn't when I took cymbalta.  The only problem I had with it was it made me sleepy a lot!

  4. Some limited trials have indicated that it does, but in most cases this is more of a placebo effect than anything else. These medications are most helpful with serious mental illnesses and have exploded all over the country because pharmaceutical companies spend big bucks trying to get people to believe all it takes is a pill to feel better. There are also many side effects to anti-depressant medications and the long-term effects to the brain and nervous system have not been studied. If you want to feel numb to lifes great feelings, than take the pill, but personally... I don't believe medication can fix all of life's problems.
