  1. Yes. Go to your school's office and get a Worker's Permit For Age's 16 & Under, fill it out, and give it to the employer. Then, you have to give it to your school and wait for it to be approved.. I'm thinking they'll pay your about 6 or 7 dollars an hour...

  2. It depends on what state you're in.  In some states, the legal working age is 16, not 14 or 15, even with a work permit, although the U.S. Department of Labor says otherwise.  If it is a cooking position as opposed to a counter position, you must be 16, as this is considered a more hazardous position.  As you are in Illinois, you can work at age 15

And as you are 15, you will be hour restricted during school time to 24 hours a week, 3 hours a day.

Given all of that information, Dairy Queen cannot discriminate against you because you are 15 and qualified to do the job.

  3. maybe. Go ask them yourself. But if you want a job that pays a lot go to starbucks. I heard they pay 10 bucks an hour and they have insurance.

  4. yeah they do

  5. Yeah they do!

  6. yes they do but you are limited to the amount of hours you can work.....child labor laws

  7. yup. i'm pretty sure. i live in illinois, work at DQ and i'm only fourteen.

  8. it just depends on where its at, and who the manager is. just call them or something and see when there hiring. Or if you go in and act like your really interested you might get the job!!!!
