Does deer skin make good hammocks?

Question

Is it strong enough to hold at least 200 lbs? I know its soft and I know how to sew it, but I dont know its strength and all the search engines know nothing. Whoever answers the best gets a 30% discount on a hammock.

I think it is if you tan it correctly.

I don't use leather, however, because I am vegan.
