Make sure you get one that says "deodorant and anti-persperant". The deodorant stops the smell and the anit-persperant stops the sweating.

Of course not. Theoretically it should neutralise the smell,but most deodorants just cover it up!.

It's anti-perspirants that should prevent you from sweating -at least in that particular area.
