Does depo provera infection help to avoide pregnancy after s*x?

i have girl friend who is about 18 years old. WE had s*x just 1 and half month ago without condom. and now pregnancy is going to start in her body. can i avoide this pregnancy problem by giving her depo provera injection. pls give this as soon as possible .

  1. NO!!!!!!!!  A DOCTOR WILL NEVER INJECT DEPO INTO SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY PREGNANT!!!  

    AND QUITE FRANKLY, DEPO PROVERA SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!

    IT F*CKS UP THE FEMALE BODY AND IN A LOT OF CASES, WOMEN CANT GET PREGNANT EVER AGAIN!!

    DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT TALKING HER INTO TAKING DEPO!! STICK TO THE PILL


  2. The injection works to prevent pregnancy, not stop a pregnancy that might already be in place.

    Do you know if she is pregnant or not? After a month and a half, a test should show up positive. Has she had a period since then? If not, and the test is negative, she should see a doctor for a blood test. It's possible she didn't get pregnant though.

    If she did get pregnant then birth control won't help you now. She will either have to give birth or have an abortion.
