Does diet soda......?

acutally cause cancer? because i'm 15 and i drink diet dr pepper almost every day.

When I was a kid ( in the early 60's) they made diet soda (pop for midwesterners) with a diet sweetner that had something called cyclamates in them. They tested mice with 100's of times of the average daily usage and found that they were more likely to develop cancer and took those sweeteners off the market.

All that being said.... Moderation in all things is best. How many a day are you consuming? For the most part there is no conclusive evidence that you  have an increased risk from having two or so a day.

The prune juice and high sugar content in reg. Dr. pepper in large amounts can cause Diarrhea,...Diet has aspartame which many believe will cause a variety of health problems including Cancer. I'd rather drink a low amount (like you do) but of reg.

I'm not a doctor.But i drink it all the time.And no many people that drink it.Everything these days is bad for ya.They say its always something.So if its what you want to drink hey go for it.
