  1. Pshaw, they have technology that can read the signal going to you computer screen. They have technology that can read the data sent to your HDTV screen too

    Any electrical signal emits a RF field, that's why TV's have to be FCC type accepted. The signal that gets sent to the screen emits this RF field and can be picked up with the latest technology. They can tell what DVD you are playing.


  2. No.  At least not the digital TV for free broadcast over the air.

    Yes, cable operators can see what you are watching with their cable box but generally there is an agreement between you and the cable company which means this information is only gathered to help them provide the type of programming you the paying customers want to watch.
