Question:

Does dimple-in-dimple technology work?

I've seen Top Flite's new dimple-in-dimple golf balls and I was wondering if they work as advertised. Top Flite's says they add more 'beneficial turbulence' which helps keep the ball in the air longer thus letting it fly farther.

If anybody has tried the new balls or thinks he understands the theories behind the design I'd love to hear your opinions

  1. A ball with no dimples will go nowhere. A ball with dimples will go somewhere and a ball with all shapes and configurations of dimples will also go somewhere if hit by a person with some skill. That is what it all boils down to. How good is the mechanic?
