Does anyone know anything specific on the army's direct deposit? We were supposed to be getting housing allowance starting this time but we don't know if the big amount of money that went in was his paycheck plus the housing allowance or just the back housing allowance from since we got married.

  1. Pay day for all military personnel went though last night / today. If the 1st or 15th of a month ever falls on a holiday where the banks are closed then all government employees are paid on the last business day prior to the holiday.

  2. Already there, check the account,

  3. we received ours yesterday

  4. If payday falls on a banking holiday, the deposit will always go in early.

  5. My pay was always before the holiday.

  6. The rule for ALL military pay is that if the military payday falls on a weekend or federal holiday, then the pay date is moved back to the first weekday.  Example:  since Monday, Sept 1, is Labor Day then the military payday would be moved back to Friday, Aug 29th.

If Friday were also a holiday then it would be moved back to Thursday.  This is true of all federal holidays & military paydays.
