Does disneyland check your ID at the door?

A bunch of my friends and I want to go to disneyland but don't want to pay the full price. Disneyland gives discounts for SoCal residents so I was going to have a relative purchase the tickets for me online and send it to me. So, i was wondering if the workers were going to check my ID at the door to make sure I live in SoCal or not, cause I don't.

  2. Yup.  If it's an online ticket print out then yes an ID is needed at the gate.

  3. Occasionally they will ask for a drivers liscence.

Only when purchasing they ask for id, but if you already got the tickets they dont ask to see your id...

  4. if the tickets have already been bought then no

  10. as long as they are not getting a voucher, you will probably not be asked for ID. but if for any reason they do ask for ID, you will loose the ticket and not get a refund.

  11. if they didn't check IDs don't you think everyone would buy the so-cal ticket and try to get in that way?

my guess is that they do check your zip code and if you don't live within the so-cal zip codes they have laid out they will refuse to let you enter or kick you out if you're already inside.

  12. If you have the tickets I don't think you have to show your ID.

I asked the park earlier on if they allowed kids to get inside and they did,so not if you don't have the tickets yet.
