i haven't seen my boyfriend for about half a month of so, when we do see each other we are really close both emotionally and sexually. the thing is i haven't actually missed him, and the thought of seeing him doesn't excite me or make me extremely happy, like it should, right?.,.. i don't think i'd be sorry if i didn't see him for another couple of months. i'm not really interested in anyone else, and i do love him, but only when we are together? can anyone explain this? p.s because i've been ill could it be this? thanks xx

  1. There is no mystery, you do NOT love him. You like him OK when he is around but if you dont miss him when he is away you are in a dead end relationship.

  2. It's not really distance that makes the heart grow fonder, but absence, but basically, they are the same thing.

It could be that being ill. has taken your mind off, him and your relationship. It's hard to concentrate on a love, if you aren't well.

Perhaps, hopefully that you are well now, when you get back together, you can pick up where you left off.

  3. Out of sight out of mind? Maybe you don't miss him because you know you will see him sooner than later. It's not necessarily a bad thing as long as you still maintain your feelings for him while he's gone.
