I am mainly interested in physics and chemistry, for example chemical engineering, but am happy in a biological environment. i am not talking about actual career experience, but the pre-career work experience that is offered in the later stages of secondary school; I'm in year 11 (in september anyway). It must be in London because I'm not travelling outside London :) I am aware of course how difficult it is to find work experience in a science environment pre-university because of the safety and qualifications required, but any ideas, I would be hugely grateful, my minds messed up trying to make my mind up, thanks!

Have you tried applying as an intern in a laboratory setting orpharmacy? Sometimes they pay. Also try being a pharmaceutical tech. You will get training there and pay. They stay open late too.
