Do we need to give any entrance exam for a career course in Agriculture in India?If yes where is it held?What are the qualifications required?

  1. Yes  you have to face an entrance examination to do agriculture course in India.Almost every state has their Agriculture University and there are central Agricultural University also ,who conduct entrance Exam .For it they advetise on local Papers.Look out for that and apply for the exam.

    Why you want to chase the bureaucrats and waste your time and money.

  5. Well, it truely depends on the University how it intakes students. But, being from an agricultural background i would suggest you to first slot down the good ones and then try for it. The list of agricultural colleges can be found in the site:- edu.maxabout.com/colleges/india/subjects...

    Regarding qualifications if you want to pursue as a graduate then you ought to have Biology(Botany and Zoology) as a subject in your Inter with minimum 55% on an average(varies with universities) and if you want to pursue it as a Post-graduate then you ought to have Botany as one of your main papers in graduation with minimum 55% average (also varies with institute).
