I want to play Oblivion on the PC and I am downloading a large mod (1.7gb) and was just wondering if downloading effects this even though it is offline.

  1. it shouldnt, unless your ram sucks, but if it did, you wouldnt be able to play the game in the first place.

  2. it shouldnt affect it much though the downloading will take up a small amount of prosessing power

    :)

  3. yes

  4. It won't affect it.

  5. The only real danger is in the download.  If your computer gets too busy it could crash the game or the download so you would have to start the game over or start the download over.  But if you have a lot of memory then you should be ok

  6. it will hurt a little but not much because the processor is still running a seperate program but you can still play and probaly not notice anything

  7. Hi it wont but if ur ram isnt good then u cant and also dont open so many windows it might not work if ur internet is offline yea if ur game is offline no it wont effect

    Enjoy!!!

  8. Yes, anything else you do will effect the performance. I would pause it unless you've got a system with a lot of ram...like 2GB of ram.
