  1. No I don't think so because of the added sugars.

  2. Yes that's what it says in my biggest loser book.  Just remember Iced Tea does suck up your potassium. Eat bananas!!

  3. Yuk!

    Don't use Splenda at all!

  4. Yes, if  you're talking about it from a kidney standpoint.  My boss had to be on dialysis three times a week and any liquid she consumed, including ice, counted toward her liquid intake for the day.

  5. OF COURSE IT DOES.  even eating foods can contribute to you daily water intake.  Most liquids except oils contribute

  6. In a word, yes.  There is no need in drinking 8 full glasses of water everyday.  You also get water from food such as fruits and vegetables.  Of course, anything low in sugar will be better for your body than drinking soda.

  7. No, because of the caffeine in the tea the body does not process the tea as it does pure water.  In fact, caffeine slightly adds to your bodies dehydration.

  8. A lot of people say YES but "technically" a low carber should drink only water.

Trust me - I drink tea instead of water!!

Edit - but if you aren't just doing low carbs then YES it is part of your water intake, just as coffee is.
