Does drinking ice water make you have to pee more than drinking room temperature water?

This is something a friend of mine claimed and I was curious if it is true.

Not possible

Drink an 8 ounce glass of water and you take in 8 ounces. Drink an 8 ounce glass of ice water and it is still only 8 ounces. Or is it. Since water expands when it freezes then when the ice consumed melts and becomes water it will actually mean you consumed less than 8 ounces.

How can you pee more if you take in less liquids than if you took in the full amount?

i think the temperature of the water cannot affect the digestive system. the water could be at the same temperature because the heat in your body can warm it up.
