Does drinking replace immunity systems?

Question

I drink at least 4-6 beers most every day. It seems like now and then when I stop drinking at all for a few days, so sort of ailment such as flu, cold or sore throat surfaces. Do you think my immunity system has shut down because the alchol is cleaning out my system doing the job of the immunity system?

Ja ja good joke. No, in fact what is happening is that once the alcohol effect has passed, your body has to deal with a deteriorated immune system. If you are to drink so much alcohol daily, you've got to take vitamins supplements as well.
