Question:

Does drinking water really help give you clear skin?

I've heard from a few people that drinking tons of water helps reduce acne and give your skin a healthy, even glow. I drink plenty of water, but I haven't really noticed any difference in my skin... do you have to drink absurd quantities in order for this to work or is it just a myth?

  1. its not a myth it helps tons because water helps clean out ur insides dont stop drink more if u can!!

    DRINK GREEN TEA AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!

    I used to have really bad skin, and breakouts all the time. Ever since i started green tea, my skin has been better than ever.

    Green tea has natural anti-oxidants that are essential for clear skin.

    Please, i really recommend green tea, it also keeps you looking young, and is healthy for your whole body. It even reduces the risk of cancer, according to my doctor.

    I'm a football (socc.) player and I drink about 6-8 glasses of water and my skin always looks great and my acne is gone after a month of this consistent behavior and I'm not even a girl!

    At first, (for the first few weeks) you will have to keep going to the bathroom a lot.

    The reason for this is because your body is trying to clear off all the waste that has accumulated. You will be doing 1 and 2 a lot but after this, your body will be purified and your body will use the water to nourish cells, blood, body, instead of eliminating waste. I only pee about 2-3 times a day from drinking all the water. At first, you'll go a lot but then you're body will be used to it.

    Another thing people don't know about water is that if you are overweight and drink a lot of water, you are actually going to lose weight because you will produce more sweat thus more calories and will purify your colon and your digestive tract thus a few pounds being shed, naturally.

    Its amazing what water can do for you.

  4. No, its really just a myth same with if you eat more protein it will help prevent acne.As long as you wash ur face morning and night you will be fine.

  6. Drinking water does help you to have clear skin. When your insides are not running to the best of their abilities it will show on your skin. If you are drinking 4 to 6 bottles of water a day, you are drinking enough.

  7. yeah i agree green tea is good. also try adding a squeeze of lemon into your water. it helps keep the skin looking fresh and acne free.. it takes a while thou., you need to keep drinking lots of water regularly for a month or so, you can't see a change from the first day.

  8. Im pretty sure water is suggested simply because it doesn't have anything bad for the skin like soda and energy drinks. I think if you are looking for a drink to help your skin you should do as said above and drink green tea.
