  1. nothing will sober you up but time, hangovers on the other hand are caused by dehydration and drinking water will help lessen the effects of that

  2. NO it does not. SOme say its good to drink it before you go to bed and wake up but its all myth. It doesnt do anything you just think it does. Nothing makes ur BAC go down only thing that does is time

  3. it works for me, but i litrally have to drink a couple of pints before i start feeling better, and well theirs alot of speculation about how sober you get...I would NOT recommend driving no matter how much water you have drank.

and theirs no point in having one glass off water after drinking 10pints and expect that to work, u need to drink about the same amount in water than you did in booze or as close as you can.

example: ill have maybe 6 pints on a sunday,

then drink 6 big pints of water, i stop drinking the booze at about 5-6pm, after the water i have a couple of cups of tea wake up monday perfectly healthy for work.

it does work but like i said its pointless having ur self one glass of water when you have drank alot more!. you need to match pint for pint.

  4. It can dilute the alcohol in your system, or make you pee more (as if alcohol doesn't make you pee enough) - but most people have a liver that proceses one drink per hour, so it might make you feel less of a buzz because it's diluted, but as far as taking a blood test, or breathilizer, it probably doesn't make you sober faster....

  5. No, the alcohol is in your bloodstream...not your stomach.

All the water does is help you with the dehydration caused by alcohol.

  6. Drank. The past tense word of drink is DRANK. Not drunk.

The proper way to say it would be:

"Does drinking water really help sober you up when you drank too much?"

    Go back to school.

  7. Not really, but it does re-hydrate you which is a good thing and might even prevent a hangover (fate worse than death).
