  1. no way.

    E85 is 85% alcohol.  Alcohol only has about %65 of the energy content.  So you lose about 1/3 of MPG.  So if your car used to get 30 mpg, you might only get 20 mpg.

  2. Depends on how old your car is and who built it. Today, in most cars, it probably causes more problems than it solves. e85 cost more to produce than it's worth energywise and cars that are built for gas will end up breaking down eventually if they add that to their tank

    So, no... If your car breaks down from using e85, hey, you're not getting mpg's

  3. No, you will see a small decrease in mileage. However it is better for the environment, better for your engine in many ways, and in many areas cheaper.
