Does eating a high quality brand of dog food stop from dogs eating cats p**p?

I have noticed that Duke doesn't eat the cats p**p anymore or not as much. Dakota doesn't do it at all anymore.

Less p**p too.

probably..dogs eat f***s for a few reasons but one is they smell the food in the stools...if you put the cats on a better food too, the food is digested better (less or no fillers) so the p**p less appetizing to the dogs..or the dogs just more satisfied and don't need to eat the p**p.

The reason that dogs like to eat cat p**p is that cats excrete a lot of undigested food in their p**p.  Because cats are so sensitive and picky, their food is highly flavored and strong smelling.  Some of this passes through and into the p**p.  

Because of the possibility of passing on parasites, it is always a good idea to have the cat box in a place that is not accessible to the dogs.  Keep it clean or the dogs will do it for you.
