My daughter has eczema and on her body and it looks like scaly patches. Now she has a bright red patch on her face and I'm not sure if it could be eczema or something else? Does it look different on the face?

  1. On teh face I think it might be the same or could be different. When my son had sensitive to the milk his both cheeks and his allegy. His cheeks were really red on both side and his skin seem to peel away. His doctor order a special cream to put on his cheekds and it went away. He got some eczema but it look like his one he has on his legs.

  2. Many people have strange red flaky patches on their face, especially behind their ears, in the eyebrows and around the nose and chin.  This is actually a form of body dandruff, and most people at some time in their life will have it.

Try and find anti dandruff for sensitive skin, and use it like soap a couple of times.  The asda/walmart brand of head and shoulders will do.  See if this helps.  Adding more lotions and oils can increase the redness and if its flaking make this worst as well.

If not, then see the doctor.
