Does electric air pot consume alot of electricity?

i jsut bought one, it seems to be keep it hot all the time, pretty cool imo. my question is does it consume alot of electricity? its kind of worrying me you see.

I would say yes they use lots of electricity and here is how you know. You know what a 100 watt light bulb is?

Look on the back of the electric pot and it will have a wattage rating on it or it will have the volts and the amps on it. Multiply the volts times the amps and that equals the amount of watts your electric pot uses.

Hair dryer = 1100 watts

Curling iron = 1200 watts

air conditioner = 1000 to 4000 watts

Good for you for your concern, producing electricity produces toxic emissions.
