  1. I have yet to see an e-visa issued by EK. As per my experience, an e-visa can be printed in any paper, it just contain your details and a barcode for their reference. It doesn't have a stamp and it differs from the pink hardcopy visa which has an official stamp and is printed on security paper. Whatever you have printed your e-visa on is now your official visa copy and the stamps will be done on that; so print it in a better quality paper.

This is the hardcopy visit visa looks like:

And an e-visa copy looks like this (I have covered the details for privacy)

  2. An electronic visa issued from Dubai does not need to have any stamps on it.

The whole meaning of this electronic visa (referred to locally as 'online visa') is that the details of the visa are directly stored in the immigration department's computer database. Non-electronic visas are printed out on a pink-colored sheet with a hologram from the immigration department. As normal practice, this original visa (pink paper) is deposited at the Dubai airport, so that the passenger can pick it up on arrival & before proceeding to immigration. But with an online visa, you simply need to carry that printout along with your passport straight to the immigration desk.

And then see the charming immigration officers wish you a smiling 'Welcome to Dubai'!
