  1. When I ordered a computer from Dell, it was kind of odd in a way. They gave me an estimated 'ship' date. But, it turned out that the ship date they gave me turned out to be the exact day that I received the system at my home. I was very pleased, to say the least!!! So, I guess it's kind of difficult for me to answer your question. What happened in my case may have been a fluke - I don't know. But, I'm a happy camper with Dell! It's a really nice system, and I got it for a great price too! Good luck with yours!

  2. i ordered my dell computer on june 22nd.

my estimated ship date was for the 25th. they sent it out on the 24th.

june 26th, it arrived from north carolina, to illinois. i live in minnesota. dell's website says i should expect it june 30th, to july 3rd. but when i checked the fedex tracking number, it said it is expected to be here tomorrow (june 28th).

so from my experience, i would say you will most likely get your computer before dell's estimated time. also, be sure to track your package when it's been shipped. fedex is more accurate than dell, since they're the ones hauling it out ;)

    hope this helps!

  3. No, not necessarily...it is only an estimate.  However, Dell is pretty good about meeting their estimated delivery date.

  4. It's generally the day you get it, but it's 'estimated' so that they will not be held accountable if it is not recieved by that date.
