Question:

Does every bird have a different song?

Is it like a fingerprint, and everyone is different? Also, does a single bird have more than one song? Like the whippoowill, does it have more than one call? Any links would be helpful :D

  1. No.  Every species has a different song.  There are minor differences within a species depending on location and isolation of the species.  Some species have different songs used for different reasons.

  2. ya every bird has it own voice then only they can communicate with each other for any thing.

  3. Most birds have more than one song. A black capped chickadee has several as does a Cardinal. Ducks probably

    just make one sound (not sure about that.)
