Question:

Does every feeling have an expiry date?

Feelings, bad or good after a while lose their effect on us and become routine,

Ex.: how many times in your lifetime can you go to beach in summer and enjoy it?

After a certain times it dries out and then you gotta seek new enjoyments,

What you think of that?

  1. Love renew everything. So get inspirations to be renewed..

  2. Hmm, I'm sitting here trying to think of "expired feelings" that I have and I'm having a difficult time.

I'm not much of a beach person, but in the two years that I lived in Hawaii I spent lots of time at the beach and found it "soothing and peaceful" every time I went.  I've been divorced from my ex-husband for 23 years now and I can think about him or see pictures of him and I still feel sad for the loss of our marriage, so that feeling hasn't expired.  I can walk into my grandpa's house in NM any day of the week and immediately feel like a kid again...nope there's another feeling that hasn't expired.  Oh here's a biggie:  I have been enjoying my morning coffee for 15 years and not once have I become bored with coffee, thought about not drinking coffee, or wanted to go off and try tea for a change of pace.  I love my morning coffee! I love the feeling of being up early while the house is still quiet and just sitting there, alone, having my coffee, thinking random thoughts, wondering what the day will bring.  That feeling won't "expire" until I do!!

So based on what my mind is coming up with, I'd have to disagree with you and say no, I don't think every feeling has an expiration date.  I think maybe "some" feelings might lose their intensity for some people based on what's going on in their daily life, but I would hope that once the external factors ease up, the feeling of going to the beach etc. would renew itself and become enjoyable once again instead of "expiring."

  3. I think it deppends on the people

i see it this way lol

a person is a book [ haha i sound so nerdy]

so u keep reading the book and new things open if the book is plain and boring yeah u get tired of it

even the beach thing u said

u might go to the same place over n over again on the beach then one day u chose a new spot another view of the ocean

but its still the same beach right
