  1. remember if you are young .. these are the good old days for you ...

I personally had a ball in my good old days .. but we must progress ... of course politics is the same old c**p.

  2. Yes. I think most are grateful for the technology of today, especially medically speaking.

However, life has become very complex and full of choice. There are many grey areas now, I think the older generations prefer the black and white.

  3. I believe the majority does. Especially living in a time when changes are happening at such a high speed. We all prefer the known to the unknown. No matter how bad things might have been in the past, that's the part we've already conquered, so it's a much safer place to live, if you understand what I mean. It's the unknown and the unfamiliar that, as we age, we have less desire to deal with. **I'm speaking in generalities here**

  4. yep

  5. People of all generations can be found yearning for a "Golden Age in the past", even if the one of which they speak never really existed.  I don't think that's so much a matter of age as of lack of hope for the future.

  6. And in 50 years will you say the same. Our younger days will always seem to be better. Younger less responsibility, more energy and time.
