  1. everyone gets to serve. you take turns, clockwise

  2. You rotate positions at each "side out". Your coach can opt to sub one of his six best servers into the game when one position rotates from front row into back row, and sub the best hitter in when the position rotates to the front row.

If you think one of your team members is not quite good at serving, it may not be too bad as there is always a work around. You will have to be a all-around player to stay on the court, thus to keep "warm" to get more credit and make less mistake.

  3. My daughter played this year for her school, and they rotated.

  4. You rotate.

  5. A volleyball team rotates the players through all the positions.

Everytime you get the ball back you move over one spot clockwise.

  6. u rotate so every one gets a turn

  7. i think everyone take turns surveing.

  8. everybody gets to serve, but it goes in a certain order. if you serve when someone else on your team is supposed to, you lose the point and any other points you got while you were serving (in high school. in club, you just lose one point)

  9. evrybody you just rotate every possesion

  10. Everybody in a rotation.

  11. It depends on your level.  Technically, everyone should have an opportunity to serve.  In some leagues, the coach subs out the server before they get a chance.

The setter is generally always the setter.  He or she can move into position depending on the action on the floor.

Good luck with your new carreer.

  12. IT DEPENDS ON HOW GOOD THE FIRST SEVERE IS IF THEIR GOOD AND NO ONE CAN RETURN IT THERE MIGHT ONLY BE ONE SERVER... BUT USUALLY THE WHOLE TEAM ROTATES.....

  13. everybody Gets To serve Volleyball Player!

  14. you rotate positions through out the entire game.

  15. Every time your team gets a piont, you rotate. There are six positions on the court. 1 is the serving spot, 2 is the right side in the front row, 3 is middle front, 4 is left front, 5 is left back and 6 is middle back. Wneh you rotate whoever is in the 1 spot is the server. If you are not the best server then you coach can sub someone in for you from the bench. So yes, everyone can serve, but they all won't.

  16. Everybody gets to server... all you do is rotate. But a server can serve as many times as they want to as long as they gain the point.  The only person that can't serve is the libero. (the back-row player that switches in without getting rotated in)

  17. Everyone must serve in volleyball, unless your coach subs you out.

  18. everyone of the floor rotates so everyone gets a chance to server

  19. any one can serve but the libero

  20. anyone .. the people rotate .. but one person gets three in a row unless they mess up

  21. everybody gets to serve

  22. You're supposed to rotate, so everyone serves...

  23. A person serves until the other team gets possesion of the ball.  Then when the ball is on your possesion then it is the next person in line.  :D

  24. Everyone serves. It's based on the rotation.. whoever is in the right-back position after rotating is the server.

The court is "split" into 6 different positions... left-front (outside), middle-front (middle), right-front (right side), right-back, middle-back, and left-back. On the diagram below, right-back is #1, right-front is #2, and so on.

Rotation means that every time your team wins the point and gets the serve, the players shift 1 position clockwise on the court. For example, position 1, the last player to serve, would rotate into the 6 position once her team won back the serve, and the player in position 2 would become the server.

As for setting, yes, there usually is a designated setter. However, the setter rotates just like everyone else. They have to start in their "area", but then they are free to do their job.

  25. everyone

  26. you rotate every time the other team misses their serve. some games not everyone gets to serve. and also a ds doesnt get to serve except for college i think.

  27. it depends what level you are playing in. If it's your first year usually they have you all rotate. But as you get more into it they have one person who serves. Also you keep one position.

  28. everyone

    you take turn

    by rotating

  29. everybody takes turns

  30. they rotate

  31. Everybody, you move in a pattern depending on how many people there are on your side. If you keep winning the service point you keep serving. GOOD LUCK!
