  1. No, I don't.  But I'd have the same answer for any world leader from a democratic country.  They do not have the ability or the power to change the global economy their individual countries are imbedded in.

Military despots are the only ones I can see as having much influence over the economics in their countries.  The junta in Myanmar halting aid that could have saved the lives of their citizens would be one recent example of functional economic control.

  2. I agree.... like every other Labour government, we are getting dragged into record debt and dumb spending.

OMG.... Trying to 'capture' carbon emotions, spending billions to do so, when it hasn't even been tested and they don't think it will work and haven't figured out how to store the emotions!!!!! When they could pump them money into research on electric cars, less petrol in the atmosphere and easier on the average Aussie pocket!!! Oh, or pump it into clean energy like windmill power and solar panels on all homes???

This government is a joke. Even the Reserve Bank laughed Wayne Swann out of their first meeting when he demanded they lower rates!! When the treasurer doesn't even know how the economy works and the environment minister doesn't know what the environment means,  you know your in trouble. Problem is Rudd and his party of morons will try bail the state Labour goevernments out of their c**p and have us so far in trouble by next election, it will take another 8 years before Liberals can fix it. Thats if liberals get their collective arses into gear and vote in a more charismatic leader!!! Otherwise, the country could really be in the c**p if Labour stick around for another term!!!!

  3. I dont know anything about economics, but i find it suspicious that he is cosying up to china which is after all a communist country while the liberal government had more interests in India which is a democratic and pro business country!

    Help me out here

  4. Yes, just like every other Labor government we have ever had.

  5. NO, we were going to be in for a rough time no matter who got in, so stop blaming it all on Kevin Rudd, just because you obviously don't like him. Grow up.

  6. no hes not we are by our desire to have all the goodies cheaply from and get it all on credit from a bunch of greedy world financiers that need it to happen to keep people under the hammer and be to preocupied with simple survial and having some where to live than concentrate on the big problems like how it got this way in the first place

  7. no i dont. it's just a procession of global economy.

  8. He has only been there for 8 months and lost complete control over the economy, he shows no interest in business, or the economy He has no idea of what to do about it. but krudd will keep going on overseas trips, and let things manage themselves, as if they can. Wages have increased as have prices, with interest rates, house sector has stalled and employment growth has slowed, yep just like every other labor government, recession, will hit, this is the recession we had to have part 2.

  9. Yes! We were so far into the red last time Labor was elected..then johnny pulled us back into the safe zone..now I feel as though we'r falling again =/
