Does everyone get cicadas every seven years............or?

is this just a cruel joke on me? The last time they were here, my sis-in-law had the bright idea to go to the zoo. My son & I are so scared of bugs. They kept landing on us, and OH SO CREEPY. We didn't have a very good time. Wonder how long it's been, I don't look forward to the next time.

I have them every summer. They don't scare me, I love the sound of them at nite, when I'm falling asleep. It reminds me of when I was little. I also like to find their shells they live on the trees, and put them on my shirt. LOL

I realise that cicadas hybernate for several years, however I dont think they all do it at the same time..

We have the biggest noisiest cicadas with bladders the size of Lake Argyle...dont ya just love walking under trees, looking up and wondering where the rain is coming from..only to find there are no clouds in the sky...ewwwwww!!!

OMG!! I HATE!! Bugs!! I am soo scared of them. I had one on my wall last night and I was sooo scarded I couldn't even SPEAK.

Unfortunately, it is true that Cicasas come every seven years!!
