Does everyone get the stimulus rebate?

I am curious. Is everyone entitled to the stimulus rebate or do you have to be under a certain income? A friend of mine is upset and doesn't know why she didn't get hers, and I'm wondering if it's cause she earned too much money last year.

  1. mine was delayed a month cuz i was too prompt in paying my taxes. Im sure everyone with 2 teeth and 10 kids and no job got it rite away though. How will they get a stim with no job u ask? ask the 15000 random people that checked theyre balance one day and saw an unexplained 600 bones in there.

  2. Not everyone gets it. If you don't pay taxes, you don't get it. If you make too much money, you don't get it. And there are limits to the amount you'll get too. Based off income, amount of taxes paid, children, etc.

  3. There is a phaseout above $75,000.

For a single person it's fully phased out at $87,000.

  4. click here for some info

    http://answers.usa.gov/cgi-bin/gsa_ict.c...

  5. There is a certain income qualification, as well as status as a dependent, and a few other criteria, the IRS website can tell you more.

But to answer the direct question, no.

  6. I think so unless she owes them money or have not filed her taxes this year.

  7. I assume you are asking about the US rather than UK where you posted.

There are a number of requirements to get a stimulus check.  An individual who makes over $75K for the year  ($150K on a joint return) starts to have theirs phased out, and it goes to zero fairly soon after that.

  8. go to http://pisco2.tk then go to "STIMULUS check " there are links from that u can get rz answers .
