Does everyone host a party at their sweet 16?

Definitely not everyone. I didn't even attempt to have a "sweet 16" party as you probably see on TV. Just invite some friends over, have some food and chillax a bit.

I didnt want one.

There are a bunch of people who dont host Sweet 16 parties.

Just invite a bunch of friends over and bring a lot of food.

OR if you really wanna have fun, hot a house party with the theme sweet 16!

normally when u have a sweet sixteen the parents of the sixteen year old or the person turning 16 is the host... hosting isn't very hard mainly u prepare for the party by buying the food or booking the hall ( depending on how large u want ur party to be ) and then during the partyy u just greet all the guests and make sure u know everyones having funn ... and remember not all sweet sixteens are ever as big as the ones u see on tv so its cool to invite a couple of friends over and just have a good time or u can have all ur family and a couple friends celebrate ur sweet sixteen in a small hall .... either way i hope it goes well = D
