Does everyone really hate winter?

Question

I had to find out good things about winter for my homework, in order to come up with ideas to enhance the experience of winter.

I went around asking ppl but no one seem to like winter! they say the only thing they like is snow-related activities otherwise it is too wet and cold..

Any other opinions?

I LOVE WINTER!'

Favorite time of year.

It's nice and cold so you can snuggle up in home in your jammies with hot coco. It's when Christmas is around the corner and everyone is "jolly" Full of spirit and HBO is showing christmas shows. It's when it snows and all you see is white, everything looks pure. It's when in school everyone seems to have this special aura of excitement leaking off of them. Because of Christmas. New years is awesome, celebrating a new year. Valentines day is right after that. Really, my Birthday is march 23. But i consider myself a winter baby. Really the reason i love winter is because the holidays are back to back. I belive that winter REALLY starts right when Thanksgiving does. Thats when they break ouf the christmas trees in Home Depot :P LOL!

I really love cold weather.  We used to live up North and it was paradise.  I was able even to rake leaves the whole day and not shed one single drop of sweat.  Now we're living in Florida and this is like h**l the whole year.  When we live in cold weather, we can wear layers of clothing and feel comfortable, but what can be done when we're are in a constant melting weather like this one: nothing.  We can go naked and wet and we'll still feel like in h**l........I just hate it here!!!

i like it, well cause where i am it dont get that cold, plus when its cold i feel fresher nd cleaner, but i would like to see snow, nd have a snowball fight wit friends lol

i love winter because of the feeling that u get when u are freezing and then get a blanket and fire and get warmed up. christmas cant hurt anything either

I LOVE winter!  It's the opportunity to use the fireplace, it's no hot weather (which I hate), it's hot foods like beef stew, and vegetable soup, and chili, it's not needing an excuse to curl up inside with a good book, it's the Holidays with family and friends, it's the scent of evergreens, it's the baking muffins in the morning, it's the wild cloudy skys, it's the long walks in the snow....  What's not to love about winter???

Winter is my favourite season. :) Primarily because I have very low heat tolerance and look terrible and feel ill in high temperature, there's nothing much you can do to cool right down but you can just wrap up against the cold in winter. And I also just find it so cosy. Although I'm from the UK so the snow's rarely that great!
