I had a brief skim through the link you posted. It was not really very factual and seemed to  be aimed at people that do not possess the ability to think for themselves and who have already made their minds up. For example this is a cut and paste from your link;

I am not sure that it is important if man feels the difference or not. Is it not more important that everything that we rely on is affected by the difference, so therefore even if we do not directly feel the difference in temperature we will notice it when there are no honey bees to pollinate the crops, and the 450 million of Europe are looking for somewhere to live because the gulf stream is delivering less warm water?

    It is actually very funny, when people try to post links to disprove global warming because they rarely post any graphs or  actual proof. Most of it is nothing short of misinformation.

So, yes I do really understand the real dangers of global warming. Do you? I have posted some links for some web sites to start you off. There are lots of fun pictures and games.

No but i got an inkling.

A few weeks ago one of NASA's top scientists concluded that the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free within five years, much faster than all previous predictions.

when the north pole is gone , you may have polar bears soon in America ,looking for a home ,

Calculations do not include the accumulative ,speeding up ,factor with time. the increase in water temperature will get faster all the time as well as the melting, when the ice is all gone the deeper cold Ocean currents will stop ,and the drag has gone with it ,also changing the higher warm currents,And only the moon will keep things moving

This will affect coastal climates ,world wide ,almost instantly. All aquatic flora and fauna will be affected,many dying off and others becoming invasive,

And recently In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests,this had never happened before. Millions of animals died.

In India 3000 people died because of super storms .

.A few years ago in Europe 3500 people,died during a heat wave ,many of them in France .

Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming

. these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.

In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.

The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing .

The biggest changes are invisible at micro biotic levels species are becoming extinct ,others are multiplying ,

This affects the insect populations that follow ,and changes in that ,affect all that follows in the food chains ,

All life is interrelated of both flora and fauna, And since we are on the top of the food chain ,

we are always the last to know.

So Global warming has its toll there are incidents all over the world

When the price of beer goes up because of potable water shortage it will become important for most people

Or the rising costs of food because third world countries have crop loss due to rising temperatures or natural disasters

Have you ever placed a bunch of ice in a glass of water? Then watched the ice melt?

Does the glass over flow?

Then why would all of the sea ice melting and the artic ice cap, which is a floating mass of ice at the top of the world, cause flooding? Never made any sense to me, but when people are told something enough they eventually start to believe it.  

Much like Global warming, they tell you they understand what they are talking about, but I imagine anyone would be hard pressed to find one scientist who would claim to understand how the earths climate works.  There is more we do not know then they will admit to.  We are not getting the complete picture.  Until the day comes when we can get a complete picture, no one understands the "Real" dangers of global warming.

One answerer in particular commented about the "hype" back in the "70's on the threat of an ice age. This is classic misinformation. Global warming can cause changes in the weather patterns and oceans' currents and just as effectively cause an ice age by shifting the normal patterns of the seasonal events. I don't understand the full extent of the present dangers but I do know they are there. I wish there were more that I could do if only to make the people who think that it is just "hype" believe that it isn't. Let's just hope more people will listen and save this beautiful planet before it "decides" to save itself violently.

hum what dangers? you mean more dangerous than global cooling touted in the 70's? or that global warming that was warned back in the 30's? or the cooling warned about around the  early1900s?

or yea I don't want to forget that co2 is a major greenhouse gas, greenhouse gas? or wait I forgot co2 is food for plants and we breath it out. or what about all that water vapor they put up there constantly? it being 5 times more greenhouse then co2, oh that is right you can't tax water vapors.

Ask who benefits if we all believe in man made co2 warming? who will profit from all those taxes paid on the gas oil, cows, horse, pigs chickens dogs and cats you own, and all those co2 polluters.  hum let me see, you? me? the guy down the street? the guy in africa? no , the money will go to you guessed it the united nations.

and what will they do with it? fund their armies and committees who's job is to see to it you follow all their petty enviromental laws and that you don't grow your own food and make sure your house is cold and uncomfortable, and that you pay all your fines you will inevitably have because you won't be able to stay within their endless guidelines. will they use that money to stop global warming? why should they, they didn't intend to use that money for funding research on how to reduce global warming. NO! they just needed an excuse to tax you.

then of course if they get that tax then some other calamity will come about that will be pushed that a tax is needed to solve that problem. pretty soon you won't have any money for yourself to even feed yourself. it is endless scaremongering.

for one reason only, profit pure and simple. this has been a tactic since time memorial.

be sure that you remember that when the news media shows only one side of a story over and over and over and over. repitition is a good mind control tactic. and refuses to show the other side of the issues. and remember this too, if they are so sure of their facts then why are they afraid of different opinions why wont' they let other scientists tell what they know that is different then their agenda?  when does the truth need to be protected or shieled from lies? lies are the ones that need shielding from the truth.

No sweetheart I will be the first to say I do not fully understand the dangers of it. But ,being a God loving Christian, I always just trusted God to take care of such big  job's as the universe. He has done such a wonderful job, all these thousands of years. So I never saw any  danger, at all. And when the messenger, Mr..Al Gore, starting all this stuff , and then his life style he lives the way he  wants to live. I could just never make myself ,switch from my God's  way, and give Mr.Gore,  The God like Status he is seeking.  But I do, do every thing in my power to leave this beautiful earth as good as I possibly can. Trying to save gas, I drive a small car, drive it only when I have too. try to save energy, don't buy aerosol products,  but I don't do it because Mr. Gore ask me too. Gas is almost 3..00 a gallon where I live,  House hold products can be cheaper with out-aerosol sprayer, and I hate paying high electric bills. I do this to save money. But you are entitled to your way of thinking.and I  will continue to do my part . But I am doing it, because it cheaper,on my budget. .I am just being Honest,.if you don't have a problem

with Mr Gore riding in his SUV, and you walking, then I say do what right for you..I just can't be that loyal. Guess I am doing mine for selfish  reasons Huh?But still trusting my God.
