  1. If he has a really good day then he's got a really good chance!

  2. NO race is a sure thing for any horse. There's many a horse that one couldn't beat but 2-3 can. And anything can happen...if he pulls up at the half he will get beat. Things happen and until they cross the wire nothing is certain.

  3. Better question.  Does anyone really care?

  4. I think Big Brown will win easily, this horse has yet to kick it into high gear !!! His Preakness win was like an allowance prep for the Belmont.

  5. Big Brown won both races convincingly enough that I think he can handle the distance of the Belmont.  The Preakness is so short that you can't compare, but the Derby isn't much shorter.

As long as the other horses can't interfere with him (like they did with Smarty Jones in the Belmont) he can certainly win.  Just gotta hope that his jockey can keep him as clear as possible, and not bumped to much or closed in.

It would be great if he won it all!

  6. I do think Big Brown will win at the belmont and take the triple crown. I think the crack could hinder him, but he is so far ahead of the field as a athletic specimen I don't think it would even matter. But don't expect him to win as convincingly as secretarium did.

  7. its his race to lose... no one in this bunch is a serious contender!

  8. I think he will, we haven't seen everything this horse has yet. I watched Casino Drive's races too, he just doesn't seem in the same league as Big Brown.

  9. Casino Drive's win in the Peter Pan race at Belmont park (according to the Beyer speed figures) was more impressive than Big Brown's race in the Preakness.Big Brown will be very vulnerable to get upset in the Belmont.
