Some people say everything is the opposite of nothing, and others say it includes nothing. I want to know what people think.

  1. Since everything means each and every item and nothing means none, then everything does not include nothing.

  2. everyTHING does not include NOthing.

  3. If you are referring to the word or even the concept of nothing,(I am not sure you are) then everything does include nothing.  But to ask if everything includes nothing,  the context seems to suggests that all that exists includes, or has a property that is nothing.  I would assume that for everything" to exist, then "nothing" must exist.  But when someone asked Socrates to describe nothing, he said, "Its what rocks thing about."
