I've got to the point were even getting another job seems impossible, never mind learning to drive, owning a vericle, traveling and moving out of the house.

I'm 19 at college studying photography but everything i want to do seems almost impossible at the moment.

Do these kind of things seem imposible to you too?

  1. i so get u!! I'm having a difficult time with finding a job also.I'm at that point to in fact I'm taking a semester off of school to clear my head.

maybe u need a break too

  2. I'm 18 and I'm starting my first semester of college this fall. I still haven't learned how to drive either, and it doesn't seem promising (mostly because I'm scared to death of the idea of driving, and the instructor I found hasn't called me back, and I don't think I'll get it in time for my first day of college...)

I'm also getting a job on campus at my college, and I'm very nervous about this first semester. I'm afraid that I haven't made the right choice, and I'm wondering where a degree in English literature will get me, and whether I'll be able to maintain a good GPA in order to keep my job, which I'm not even sure I'll like, seeing as I don't get to pick it... I'm also lacking confidence, I'm wondering if this is the right thing for me... And I just found out that the people I was counting on for moral support are either moving away or going to a different college (i.e. my best friend is moving in the spring semester and my other best friend who got accepted into the same college as I did also decided to ditch me last minute...this is important because I don't make friends easily, so I can see three years of utter lonliness ahead for me...)

There was a lot more stuff confusing me too a few weeks ago, but it got so depressing that my subconcious just doesn't wat to think about it anymore... Now I'm just sitting in front of my computer waiting to see what happens.

I think it's normal, but in any case, I can relate.

  3. Well, when I started college everything seem possible for me ^^ You just have to be patient in getting things you want, and work hard on getting them. Doing one thing at a time so you don't stretch yourself too much. (I know one thing or two about loan, it SUCKS~!)

  4. yeah i totally know how you feel!

i'm 19/college student as well and let's see what things seem impossible right now...

*not sleeping through the alarm/getting to 8am classes on time

    *picking a major

    *moving out of parents house

    *finding a new job

*finding someone to go to the Madonna concert with me so i don't have to be awkward and go alone

*going on a road trip (it looks so fun but everyone's always busy with something...)

*graduating college in 4 years like that's gonna happen

so don't worry you're not alone

  5. don't create your own obstacles.

rome wasn't built in a day.

you have to relax and be patient as farmers are patient for their crops.

  6. Not to sound corny or cliche, but

Weather you think you can or think you can't,  you're right.

You need a better attitude.  You're 19 years old and you have the whole world in front of you.

  7. I cant possibly answer this...

  8. Remove impossible from your vocab.  The minute you see things as impossible...they are.

  9. It can get overwhelming. Life is full of challenges. The key is to just do when thing at a time. Take baby steps.

  10. Yeah. I know what you mean. I am 25 and have just finished the college stage of life. Now I am in the career building stage of life and yes, it is quite impossible. But for some strange reason, unbeknownst to me or probably anyone else, things always work out. I now realize this and as a result I am much less stressed. As others have advised, I know that if I take my time and put a steady amount of work into accomplishing the things that I want, I will eventually get them. Not everything goes as planned, but certainly new developments in life bring about new ideas and greater successes. Love yourself, have fun and play, work at the things you desire to obtain, and dont worry. Worrying causes ugliness. That's my theory anyway. Eat lots of satisfying food. And love people in such a way that will get you lots of attention in return. I have gotten a lot of free goodies that way.

  11. no im good
