Does eye laser surgery have any pregnancy SE?

Question

i heard from my friend that with eye laser surgery, you can't conceive for 8 months. is this true? or anybody heard of any major SE other than eye infections?

The only problem with Lasik and pregnancy is that during pregnancy and while breast feeding, the prescription of your eyes can change. You would definitely not want to have a corrective surgery on changing eyes. We normally have pregnant or nursing moms wait for about 6 months after nursing prior to Lasik but after Lasik, just realize that your eyes may change during pregnancy and nursing but should go back to normal after that.
