Does febreeze actually clean?

does febreeze actually kill bacteria in fabrics? or does it at least make sure the fabric is clean? i kno it gets rid of the smell but is that it? would the fabric still be dirty?(not stain wise but still have lots of bacteria)

no it`s just an air freshner that you can spray onto fabrics to make them smell better. i dont rate it at all because it dosent last long

Only for smell purposes. Sorry no quick fix for your dirty problem.

No. All it does is minimize or mask odors and relax wrinkles.

Consumer Reports said it didn't even do that very well.

If you're concerned about bacteria in the fabric, you'll need to use a soap or detergent dissolved in water.

Read the label--but I think fabreeze is for smell only--unless they have come out with some new product.
