Does feminism create more misgoyny than it cures?

Question

Given the amount of hatred against men stirred up by feminism (e.g. unjust domestic violence laws, "All men are rapists" attitudes, campaigns for better healthcare for breast cancer but ignoring prostate cancer etc) is it surprising that many ordinary men mistakenly think ordinary (non-feminist) women are to blame? All men generally get to see is that women seem to have the odds stacked in their favour today e.g. positive discrimination at work.

Does feminism create more misogyny than it supposedly cures?

(Btw This is obviously a question feminists don't want answered because they keep reporting it).

Oh h**l yes. A person can put their point across without being hateful, however many feminists are so caught up in their hatred of men that some men kinda start to hate their obnoxious ways.

Have to look at the whole picture, even before feminism came about.  There has always been sexism around even before Feminism and I wonder, if there were no such thing nowadays, if every Feminist did a U-turn and stopped believing in feminism entirely, would that change mens opinion of women, would it mean men would like women more and end misogyny?  In some cases men would begin to relax, but there will always be misogynists out there no matter what women do.

Feminism is not out to cure misogyny. It is an advocacy group for women. Any group that seeks to gain advantages must by default take something from others.

More money to curing breast cancer means less money to curing prostate cancer.

Better settlements for women in divorce means worse settlements for men

Affirmative action for women in employment means discrimination against men in employment

Putting more men in jail means less spaces for women

The question is have we gone past equality. Yes we have.

The rise in anti feminism is caused by the discrimination against men. I personally think there is more a rise in anti feminism than misogyny but I could see how the situation could be manipulated to become a woman blaming culture.

Western feminists create resentment by demanding superiort rights and privilege. Feminists fighting for basic human rights in the Middle East makes sense.  Demanding more and more in the West is obviously motivated by hatred of males and a quest for even greater superiority.

Yes it does.  Every ism has the potential to go out of control and injure innocents.  To deny freedom of speech means you are hiding something.  Good luck with the question.  Seems like a lot of men's questions get deleted.

But those attuidues aren't - they are either extremists like you get with every group, but mostly they are just assumed views by non-fems.
