Does feminism really exist or is it just a delusion in their minds?

Apparently, feminism has no leaders, no consensus, and no spokesperson. It appears to be a hopelessly contrived and inconsistent mishmash of everything and anything.

So does it really exist - other than in feminist delusions?

  1. First, the fact that women are now able to be educated alongside men and can hold similar positions in the workforce clearly shows that feminism isn't just a delusion.

However, a real argument exists when you claim that the feminist cause lacks "leaders".   If you are looking for one I would become more familiar in the subject because they are out there.  A lesser known woman such as SUSAN B. ANTHONY who was on the $1.00 coin for about 50 years could be one...or maybe Mary Wollstonecraft, or how about Elenore Roosevelt.

  2. A system of thought requires no leader or any one spokesperson. It only requires a consensus on the subject of its core belief. Anyone who does not live by that one belief cannot accurately associate themselves with the doctrine in question.

  3. Why is it you guys rant endlessly about the deceased Andrea Dworkin and the International Feminist Conspiracy, and in the next breath post a question like this?  So-called MRAs contradict themselves in every breath, and that's why they're not taken seriously.  You guys are the ones who need "consensus": you can't even agree what to whine about!

Its just not good enough, you know?

  4. I believe in feminism (or at least I think I do) but the reality is that it IS currently an inconstant mishmash of everything and anything. Something needs to be done about it.

  5. It exists alright.  There are feminist groups that actually meet with a spokesperson in place.  Nothing contrived about it as there are actual plans in place.  The ones with delusions are men who are afraid of change.

  6. If we say that something appears to be a hopelessly contrived and inconsistent mishmash of everything and anything it truly does exist; even though, it is mixed up.

Flowers don't need leaders in order to exists.

The thoughts in our heads don't need leaders in order to exist.

The delusional part could be as to why they became so; however, this is not the time.

  7. Do you really exist or is it just a delusion in our minds?

  8. It exists in delusional minds.

  9. Something that seems delusional can exist or be true (cf. Martha Mitchell) and in fact many things that are not falsifiable are not considered delusional (cf. religious belief).  I think you'd need a much more rigorous argument if you wanted to suggest seriously that feminism was a delusion.

Meanwhile, the things you say could equally be said of other beliefs or movements: pacifism, atheism, consumerism, dualism, environmentalism, humanism... are these also delusions in your opinion?

  10. Well then I don't understand why the anti-fems get all pissed over other peoples delusions.

I think its there. A lot of feminist act like no one is guiding anything but whatever.....

  11. Feminism would be represented by all females - unfortunately this means that every time a female uses her looks or s*x to get ahead, among other things, the whole concept falls backwards.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and unfortunately there are many weak links in the concept!

    Respect to all the ladies...;)

  12. Yes & the media is the default leader.  Some unknowns are watching women & men fighting.  And laughing at us as they conquer our countries.  United we fight, divided we fall.
