Does fishing line effect your bite ratio?

Question

If i were to buy cheap lines and expensive line? Whats the difference? I'm not talking about the casting ability, diameter, or stiffness of the line. I'm specifically talking about the bite ratio. If i were to buy expensive line then would my bite ratio be higher then buying cheap line? If so why? if not why?

no i dont believe so...

just whatever line appears to be more invisible underwater to the fish should up your bite ratio.
