Does florida just get hurricanes or do they get tornadoes and cylones aswell? and what is the difference?

you do get hurricanes and tornadoes but no typhoons because typhoons are the same as hurricanes but are the name given to the ones that hit Aisia!

i live in florida, an we mostly get hurricanes. but if a thunder storm is powerful enough it can spawn a tornado, but nothing big like out in Kansas

Florida is prone to hurricanes and tornadoes and they happen quite frequently there. Cyclones are the same as hurricanes except cyclones occur in the Indian Ocean and South Pacific so cyclones don't hit Florida.
