I know that the power of the punch relys on the gentics of the person, but since you punch with your body and that involves useing your weight, does the more weight you gain add to the heavyness and effectiveness of a persons punch????

  1. I think if you are fat that your are so slow because of how unhealthy you are so you are not getting more power but losing it! But if you are like a "fat" football player which has a lot of muscle then yes you give a more powerful punch that is why people have Huge body gaurds! But if you are small and quick you may have a more powerful punch then a obese person because they have the energy to move haha but i think that muscle and being healthy gives you a more powerful punch then weight!

  2. I don't think gaining weight will give you a stronger punch. Instead when you punch, make sure you after you throw your fist that your whole body leans forward that way it gives you more power. Try It

  3. No. The trick to a strong punch is practicing good technique. If you gain wheight, you will just get slower. That is why the pros are so lean.
