i heard that it hurts alot. does it hurt for the guy who is insterting his (u know what) in the guys bottom or does it hurt for the guy who is on the bottom?

If you know what you're doing it shouldn't have to be a painful experience by any means. It should be great. You just have to listen to one another, make sure you're ready, relax, and pay attention to their body language.

First, keep in mind that anal s*x is not the only kind of g*y s*x.

There is also mutual with the hand, and oral.

But for what you are talking about, if it is done correctly, the person on the bottom can feel wonderful, for the male prostate gland is involved in o****m.  And the person on top is feeling great anyway.

P.S.  If when you are older you are ever involved in this, make sure to switch it around.  You can do both top and bottom stuff, after all, don't get stuck in a role.  And always use a condom and water-based lubricant, both for cleanliness and for preventing illness.

It's difficult to answer that question because everyone is different. Anal s*x is a very intimate act and, for partners who have an emotional bond or simply enjoy that particular s*x act, there may be no horrific pain.

More than anything, please do not fall into the rigid mindset that g*y s*x has to "hurt." Anal s*x is just one form of g*y s*x; not every g*y men enjoys penetration or wants it.

But as far as mechanics, take your time whether you're penetrating or being penetrated, listen to your partner before and during the s*x act, and use lots of water-based lubricant and a latex condom. And being penetrated does not make you or your male s*x partner less of a "man."

As several people have already said, if it's done right it shouldn't hurt either one.  If it's hurting, then something isn't being done right.

Now, this is not to say that it's going to be totally wonderful the first time.  Just like eating an incredible meal, or having a glass of fine wine, or smoking a good cigar, it takes some getting used to.  For a virgin bottom, it would probably take 2 or 3 times before he would begin to actually get any pleasure out of the experience.

There are exceptions to this rule, of course!  My husband/BF right now tells me that the first time he had s*x was also the first time that he was ever penetrated and it was so incredibly good for him that he lost his load without either his partner or himself "touching anything."
