Does gender inequality still exist? Explain.

Absolutely!  My brother is a prominent doctor who runs several hospitals in a large city.  He once told me he would hire male  nurses before female nurses because when a child is sick, its typically the woman who stays home with the sick child.

Yes, some women get paid less than men for the same job.

Also, for a personal experience, once I graduated from college, I tried to find a job working for a hazardous waste site, helping clean it up (OSHA stuff).  I was informed by an interviewer that I would NEVER get hired for that position, because I was a woman.  When I asked why that should make a difference, he said it was because we had babies.  I asked him to explain.  He said that since we could be exposed to hazardous chemicals that could s***w up our eggs or, if pregnant, our baby, that it was too big a liability for the company.

Hmmmpphhh.  So, I found employment in a different field.

Spend 10 minutes in Corp America and you can't help but see it.  The hard part though (at least for) is LIVING IT EVERY DAY!!!!
